Best Friends

Still best friends. In fact, the other day, one of Ellie's Kindergarten friends told her that she was not her friend any more and that Ellie could not be in the "Best Friends Club." Ellie didn't seem to worried about it but Taylor says, "Oh, well you just tell her that she can't be in the "Uffens' Sisters Club." Love it~!

Seattle Bound

Meg and Ellie on the ferry bound for Seattle for little Kendra's birthday party. Ellie always has to have a seat by the window to watch the seagulls and waves.

Sweet Ellie

Got a crazy idea to decorate our tree with tons, I mean tons of black and white pictures of the kids from the whole year. Loved this one of Ellie. This capture Ellie as she has got to be the sweetest kid on earth. And no I am not biased; she really is.

Not so little anymore

We had a gal in our ward shoot pictures for the girls for YW in excellence night.
Snapped a great picture of Megan looking way too old. Where oh where has the time gone?

Two opposites attract

These two are complete opposites. Surprized they actually took a picture together. Megan the ultimate in glam girl and Taylor resistant to any primping. My sweet, sweet girls.

Surrounded by cuteness

Megan and Addison are growing quickly. Like both stages; I can share clothes with Megan now, definitely a perk as well as be in the baby mode with Addison. How to shop and let the baby have nap in her crib has proven difficult though.

Big 1 year old

My one year old is walking and getting into all sorts of mischief. The other day I found her sitting in my bathroom sucking on the plunger. Thought twice about letting her continue because she was actually staying in one location.

TRADITIONS

Traditions are a big thing in our house. Top picture is Addison diving into her 1 year old birthday cake. 2nd picture is us making cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate; a tradition we do every general conference to curl up and eat yummies and watch conference. Last picture is our annual trek to good ole' Central Market to pick punkins.

Eating dirt

We finally got out back yard done!!!! Yea!! (Todd put in sprinklers and re-seaded) Addison spent a lot of time in the dirt and we think developed an acquired taste for it.

My baby, my baby!

Had a hard time with my Ellie leaving me on the first day of school. She was rearing to go and Mom was not quite so ready. She love Kindergarten though and is proving to take after her sisters and be a fabulous reader. Lost her first tooth (well except the bike accident one a few years back) a couple days ago and got to sign the "big tooth" at school

End of summer

We had a fabulous end of summer trip to Sunrive, Oregon where we rode bikes, hiked down into some great caves, went horseback riding, lots of swimming and tennis an of course great food. Great end to a memorable summer. Note Megan on the horse-the rancher told her that he was going to give her the horse with the most attitude (guess he could tell what phase she is going through) but true to his word, Megan's horse was hillarious. He would not obey any of her commands and at one point started to go down an embankment into the river. We were cracking up and still kid her about it.
