Pet rats!

Hannah is babysitting two pet rats for our friends that are out of town. "Doris, and Cinnamon." The girls love them, their Mom is grossed out. Hannah has a pet rat fund because she wants to buy one. HELP!!!

Lovin the baby food

Addy finally is digging the baby food. Here is squash, no problem. Megan fed her rice cereal today while I was at work and said, "Yea, she loved it, I just added a ton of sugar!"

I'm gonna get it!

Here is Addy all in her bouncer. Since she is now moving, she is only content here for a little bit. Then her toy drops and she just has to get it.

Imagine my surprize when I got out of the shower and found her like this. Not crying or anything; just really trying to get her toy.

Growing up too fast!!!

Addison is up on hands and knees and is moving hereself around. Crazy-but she is determined and has figured out how to get up and then pushes herself forward and then starts over again. We put her on the floor for "tummy time" constantly and then turn around and she is over on the wood floor on the eating area. Addison was finally getting into a great sleeping cycle where she was down at 7 p.m., up at 2 or so to feed and then back down until 7 in the morning. Alas, I was getting sleep. However, the last 5 days or so, she has been up literally most of the night, just wanting to nurse and sometimes even watch T.V. CRAZY! Almost like she was a newborn again having her days and nights mixed up. Well, this morning she grabbed my finger and stuck it in her mouth and her bottom tooth was sticking out, with the one beside it swollen and ready to pop through as well. Thank goodness something was causing her to be so crazy.

Hard to stay upset with this one for all her craziness in the middle of the night. She is so CUTE and squishy!!!

Fun Weekend

Todd thought it would be fun to hike up Mt. Rainier and then ski down. He convinced Matt to go as well. Great day-they forgot the snowshoes so they were thigh high hiking up for several hours and then had a long fun ski down the mountain. This is Matt coming up the slope

Family Fun Night!!!

Last night, we invited lots of friends and enjoyed a Family night playing floor hockey at the church gym. We first let all the kids play, here is Ellie playing goalie and the rest of the pictures are of all the kids in action. Then we had all the men play (a little scary because it got a little too physical for the ladies, then all the ladies and then we had "couples" play. SO FUN!!!!!

Big sisters are the best!!!

Taylor is awesome with Ellie!!! Always more than willing to hold and take care of her. I seldom get lots of time with her (other than when the girls are at school) because she is in high demand.

BIG GIRL!!!

Addison loves her high chair. She just sits there and follows everyone around just smiling.
I think it's because she feels safe and secure all strapped in and no one is man-handling her.

Littlest Pet Shop

Ellie loves to play with Addison. Funny concept at this age, but actually, today they played for about 1/2 hour with Addison doing her "tummy time" as we call it and trying to grab at all of Ellie's littlest Pet Shop. Ellie set them all up and Addison was watching and trying to grab at all of them. Pretty soon, I am going to have to gather all the little stuff up for awhile. I don't think it will be much longer as she is getting super cordinated being able to pick stuff up and put it in her mouth. Sigh!!!!! My newborn is growing up!!!

Happy Birthday Hannah

Here it is almost a month after Hannah's real birthday and we are still celebrating! She had a great 11th birthday with donuts at school for her class, homemade dinner and breakfast of her choice and then a week later a big birthday party. She invited 8 friends over for a baking party and slumber party. She helped pick out fabric for some fance aprons we made and then we had the girls make their own personal pizzas for dinner. Later that night we had my friend come and teach them some cake decorating techniques and they made cake clutch purses and decorated them. Then, a movie and of course a whole lot later, bed. Next day, I was exhausted. At one time we had 16 females in my house including my kids, Hannah's friends, about 4 of Megan's friends and the cake decorator. Lots of estrogen here!
