Spring Break

No pictures to post because of course we have forgotten our camera on the last two excursions. We are on Spring Break and are enjoying doing things around here. We took the girls skiing last week at White Pass. Thanks to our good friends the Machens, we were able to outfit all of our girls in skis and take them up. Todd was awesome with them and by the end of the day they were going down solo.
Sunday afternoon it was sunny but cold and we went to Pointe-no-Pointe for a walk on the beach and hike in the woods. I glanced over at Ellie and she was playing in the water and sand wearing rain boots, her sweat pants rolled up and a down ski jacket because it was so cold. I thought, "Only in Washington."
We just got back from a mini-trip to Seattle where we went and did some shopping at University Village and visited Matt at Cheesecake Factory and enjoyed an awesome dinner. Spent the night and hung out with Matt today-went to Pike Place Market where it was pouring rain and freezing. Enjoyed some great donuts there and then made the long trek back. So far a pretty fun Spring Break.
Next excursion, definitely bringing the camera.

What an enjoyable springbreak! Even though it still sounds like winter is still evading spring somewhat; it sounds like you were able to take in some fun excursions! Your girls will all be zooming down on their skis just like their Dad before you know it! Glad you were able to hang out with Matt some, also. Um, Cheescake Factory and Pike Place Market make us homesick! We'll be able to enjoy it all soon too before you know it!
